How can I find a retailer in my area?
We’d love to help.  Please email retailers@metrotea.com and one of our representatives will let you know where you can find our tea.

When will my order get shipped?
Our operational standards are as follows:
Canada: Orders received before 2:00pm EST have an 85% probability of being shipped that evening at 98% fill rates.
USA: Orders received before 11:59am EST have an 85% probability of being shipped that evening at 98% fill rates.
UK, Europe and Caribbean: Orders received before 11:59am EST have an 85% probability of being shipped that evening at 98% fill rates.
International: This is dependant upon the amount of documentation that needs to be prepared. If there are no Phytosanitary Certificates required, orders will be processed and shipped within 4-8 hours. A Phytosanitary Certificate requires 3-5 days of processing time depending upon the complexity of the order.

Do you have a minimum order size?
No, we have no minimum order. Experience has shown us however that a nice full display helps sell tea. When you place your first order - make a statement!  “I sell tea!”
(There is a minimum shipping charge. Orders over a preset dollar amount may have the freight charge waived. Please call for further information.)

Do you make on-site sales calls?
Unfortunately no, Metropolitan Tea cannot make sales calls. Due to the international nature of our customer base it simply isn’t feasible to provide everyone with that level of service. Our experienced salespeople will be happy to help you over the phone.

Does Metropolitan Tea do custom labeling?
Yes – we have a program known as LUDIFY (Let Us Do It For You) which may be what you are looking for. Please call our office or consult our catalogue for more.

How can I get shipping terms?
First orders are COD or Credit Card only. Subsequent orders may be given terms based on completing our credit application. Click here to download our credit application form.

How can I become an exclusive retailer?
Metropolitan Tea Co. does not actively seek out exclusive retailers; however we do encourage our customers to develop their own ‘brand’ using our teas and packaging options. This helps create consumer loyalty to their own brands, a more logical view in our view.

When I call, do I have to speak to a specific salesperson?
No. Any one of our representatives will be more than happy to take your order or answer your questions. Our phone lines are open from 8:30 am –6:00 pm , Eastern Standard Time. (New York / Toronto time zone)

Do you have a showroom?
In 2008 our Toronto office will be opening a show room.

Are orders shipped from the USA?
Our orders are prepared at a central warehouse and fulfillment center in Toronto Canada. Orders are then shipped from our warehouses in Buffalo New York, Feltham England or Toronto Canada.
